Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Lou et Lo (“we”, “us”) handles information when authorized staff use the Lou et Lo Teacher mobile app. The app is for nursery employees only.

2. What the app does
The teacher app lets authorized staff pair a device with a one-time pairing code, view class lists and schedules, and submit daily student reports to the nursery server.
3. Information we collect
Staff device pairing
- Pairing code issued by nursery administrators
- Device identifier, device name, operating system, and OS version
- Optional device label set by administrators
- Session credential stored on the device after pairing (hashed on the server)
Student and classroom data used in reports
- Student names and class membership needed to fill daily reports
- Report content you enter (for example meals, naps, toilet, learning, feelings, notes, absence)
- Local offline copies of class and report data on the device
Diagnostics and crash reports
- Crash logs and diagnostic data via Google Firebase Crashlytics
- App version, package name, flavor (teacher), paired-device label, and limited report context (for example class or student id) attached to crash reports
We do not sell personal information collected through the teacher app.
4. How we use information
- Authorize staff devices and keep sessions secure
- Receive and store daily reports for nursery operations and parent communication
- Operate, secure, and improve the app (including diagnosing crashes)
- Support IT and administrative management of teacher devices
5. Who we share information with
- Nursery administrators via the admin website (device management, reports, student records)
- Parents/guardians who receive applicable daily report information through the parent app or other nursery channels
- Google Firebase Crashlytics as a processor for crash diagnostics
- Hosting / infrastructure providers that run our servers
6. Children’s information
Teachers use the app to record information about enrolled children as part of nursery care. Handle that information only for authorized work duties. Do not share credentials, pairing codes, or report content outside nursery processes.
7. Retention
Paired device records remain while the device is authorized. Administrators may revoke a device at any time. Report and student records are retained according to nursery operational needs and applicable law. See our data deletion page for device unlink and deletion requests.
8. Security
Pairing codes expire and are single-use. Sessions use server-side token hashing. Production network traffic uses HTTPS. Staff must keep devices locked and report lost devices to administrators promptly.
9. Your choices
- Ask an administrator to revoke your device if you leave or lose the phone
- Uninstall the app when it is no longer needed
- Request deletion of device linkage via data deletion

10. International processing
Our nursery operates in Lebanon. Processors such as Google Firebase may process diagnostic data in other countries as needed to provide the service.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
