Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Lou et Lo (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use the Lou et Lo mobile app for parents and guardians. The app is intended for adults (parents and guardians), not for children to use on their own.

2. What the app does
The parent app lets you link to your child at the nursery using an invite or access code provided by the nursery, view daily reports and related nursery information, and receive push notifications about your child.
3. Information we collect
Account and child linkage
- Access / invite code supplied by the nursery
- First and last name initials you enter to confirm the correct child
- Child profile details returned by our servers after a successful login (for example name, date of birth, class, profile photo path)
Device information
- A device identifier generated or read on your phone
- Device name, operating system, and OS version
- Push notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging / Apple Push Notification service via Firebase)
App content stored on your device
- Local copies of student, class, schedule, meal, and daily report data needed to use the app offline or quickly
Diagnostics and crash reports
- Crash logs and diagnostic data via Google Firebase Crashlytics
- App version, package name, flavor (parent), and limited session context (for example student id / class name) attached to crash reports to help us fix bugs
We do not sell your personal information.
4. How we use information
- Authenticate and authorize your device for the correct child records
- Deliver daily reports and nursery updates
- Send push notifications you are eligible to receive
- Operate, secure, and improve the app (including diagnosing crashes)
- Communicate with you about support requests you send us
5. Who we share information with
- Nursery staff who use our admin tools and teacher app as part of caring for your child
- Google Firebase (Cloud Messaging and Crashlytics) as processors for push delivery and crash diagnostics
- Hosting / infrastructure providers that run our servers, under our instructions
We do not share your data with advertisers. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of children or others.
6. Children’s information
The app processes information about children enrolled at the nursery so parents can receive care updates. Children are not the intended users of the app. Access is limited to parents/guardians who receive a nursery-issued code, and to authorized nursery staff. If you believe a child’s information was provided in error, contact us at info@louetlo.com.
7. Retention
We keep device linkage, tokens, and related records while your child is enrolled and your device remains authorized, and for a reasonable period afterward for operational and security needs, unless a shorter period is required by law or you successfully request deletion (see our data deletion page).
8. Security
We use access codes, device registration, HTTPS for network traffic in production, and staff access controls on our admin systems. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
9. Your choices
- You can stop using the app and uninstall it at any time
- You can disable notifications in your device settings
- You can request removal of your device linkage and related app data using our data deletion process

10. International processing
Our nursery operates in Lebanon. Some processors (including Google Firebase) may process data in other countries. By using the app you understand that information may be transferred to those locations as needed to provide the service.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
